Strategic Talent Solutions (STS) is pleased to announce that Mary Jo Rogers has been named managing partner of the firm, effective March 31, 2017. She succeeds John Philbin, who stepped down after 14 years of service as managing partner. Philbin, a co-founder along with Ed Gubman, remains with the firm and continues to support STS’ longstanding clients and contribute as part of the firm’s leadership team.
Rogers joined STS in 2007 to lead a successful practice focused on the development of leaders and teams to increase operational results and safety performance. She is a recognized expert in utility sector leadership and organizational change, and the author of the book, “Nuclear Energy Leadership: Lessons Learned from U.S. Operators,” published by PennWell. Mary Jo is also an accomplished team and individual coach, helping leaders grow and increase performance in their organizations. She will continue to serve the firm’s clients while acting as managing partner.
“I am honored to be succeeding John as managing partner and look forward to building the leadership team to support the firm as we continue our growth path,” Rogers said. “Given the focus of our work in directly impacting leaders and organizations to help them improve performance, I am confident the firm is well-positioned for continued future success.”
Mary Jo completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Loyola University Chicago, her M.A. in Developmental Psychology at Northern Illinois University, and her B.A. in Psychology at the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire.
Founded in 2004 and based in Chicago, STS is driven to make a difference for their clients by preparing leaders for the most critical roles, challenging teams to work together to execute strategy and helping build a culture that leverages the full talents of all employees.
