Brian Juncker, Ph.D.

Partner

(312) 253-3649

Brian consults with industry leaders and leadership teams on selecting and developing the right leaders, leadership skills, and management strategies for achieving their business and operational goals. He also works with leaders across all layers of their organization to drive alignment on strategic initiatives, and develop the leadership capabilities required to capably execute and improve business performance.

While his work spans multiple industries, he maintains an emphasis in energy, utilities, and healthcare at the executive and operational levels. Developing high accountability leaders who promote continuous performance improvement through cross-functional teamwork is the cornerstone of this work. He also actively partners with company leaders in order to create the alignment, support, and accountability needed to build capability into the organization so that results are sustainable.

Brian’s clients have included Entergy Corporation, Southern Company, Dominion Resources, Eversource Energy (formerly Northeast Utilities), Tennessee Valley Authority, Omaha Public Power District, the University of Wisconsin Medical Foundation, Sinai Health System, Cadence Health, the University of Chicago, PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers), ConAgra Foods, White Lodging, and McDonald's.

Prior to joining Strategic Talent Solutions, Brian was a member of the clinical faculty at the University of Wisconsin Hospital & Clinics in Madison, WI. While there he specialized in medical/surgical consultation and liaison services and co-managed a consult service to a large tertiary care medical center. At UWHC he developed his skills for working across the organization to develop innovative service-delivery programs, breaking down silos to promote effective cross-functional collaboration, and coaching physician leaders on managing their specialized care-delivery teams during stress points and change.

Brian is an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, HRMAC, and the Society of Consulting Psychology. He holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology and a B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin. He completed his internship at the Vanderbilt University and Nashville VA Medical Centers in Nashville.
