John Bausch
John focuses his consulting on helping senior executives drive toward improved business results. This includes providing
individual and team coaching as well as consulting on a wide variety of people issues including talent reviews and business
unit alignment. In addition, he emphasizes improving communication within organizations.
He has helped Strategic Talent Solutions create and deliver its 4 E (Envision, Enlist, Engage, and Execute) approach
to team coaching— consulting approach that seeks to create more self awareness on the part of individual team members
so that the business results of the overall team improve.
During his 19-year career at Hewitt—where he was a partner—John worked in the firm's communication
practice, as an executive in Hewitt's e-solution health care benefits business (Sageo), and as a Talent &
Organizational Consultant, where he consulted with clients on all areas of Hewitt suite of services (organizational
effectiveness, employee engagement, all forms of compensation, and benefits). Before leaving the firm, he was a
managing consultant and was responsible for the overall relationship and increasing market share of targeted Hewitt
clients.
He is an adjunct faculty member of the Northwestern University School of Education and Social Policy, Center for
Leadership and Organization Change. John holds a B.A. in journalism from Creighton University and an M.S.J. from
